Both, with more than 20 years each of experience in organizing trips to Laos, explain to you how the O.R.L.A Tours agency was born.
Charly RENAUDIN
I had the chance to grow up in the world of tourism in Asia. At the age of 15, in 1993, my parents opened their own agency in Thailand, and then in Laos.
It was in the year 2000, at the age of 22, that I started working for the family agency in Laos as a jungle circuit tracker to meet the local tribes, and then as a guide for large groups. At the time, these newly discovered circuits were intended for French travel catalogues.
Following their retirement, it was in 2012, and with my colleague and longtime friend Phasouk, that we started to create our travel agency.
From now on, as a team, we combine all this experience to serve you and our tour operator partners around the world to create unique and tailor-made tours.
Phasouk VANSAVATH
I started my career in tourism in 1999 after graduating from the French department of the National University of Laos in Vientiane.
First a French-speaking guide, then responsible for the team of guides, my role was to guarantee the fulfillment of your expectations and empower the guides so that exchanges with ethnic groups are beneficial for everyone.
Regularly scouting in the field since the very beginning of my career, I am continuously surveying with the team and checking that the proposed circuits are really as good as we say they are.
My 21 years of experience have brought me a knowledge of this country’s best kept secrets which today allows me to create innovative and special tours with my team, incomparable to mass tourism.

Our association Enfants du Laos aims to develop access to education in the villages of mountain ethnic groups to enable these children to have the same opportunities as children in the city to find a job and obtain a better future on their own.
These villages lack resources, which is why we have built a computer school from scratch and are setting up new education systems in cooperation with the local authorities.
300 children from the Hmong and Khamu village of Ban ViengHin are currently being provided with computer and foreign language lessons by Enfants du Laos.
Our long-term goals are to provide sustainable support and autonomy to families to contribute to the education of their children.
